Pilates 1:1 Sessions

These are sessions you can book with us if:

  • you want to go over in more depth a technique or exercise we are doing in a class or you just want to brush up your accuracy
  • you feel that a particular exercise is aggravating your condition. Not all pilates is good for all people. Research has shown that for some people with specific posture types and low back pain, certain exercises may aggravate their symptoms and these exercises may need to be modified to suit them as an individual.
  • You have sport specific issues (eg recurrent injuries) and need a pilates assessment of muscle imbalance to target and improve particular muscle groups.
  • We can see new clients on a one to one basis prior to joining an established class, particularly useful if you have already done some pilates elsewhere and wish to fit into an intermediate or advanced class

 

NB. We strongly recommend a 1:1 assessment if you have not come via your doctor or the physiotherapy clinic and you feel you have significant pains or mobility issues.All classes and booked through Kings Langley Physiotherapy Clinic, are booked as a course and paid in advance. There are no refunds for classes missed but every effort is made to fit into an additional class during that course. Courses generally run during the school term time only with additional "extra" classes in the school holidays.
